Alexander Shirah

Alexander H Shirah is the father of four (three sons and one daughter) and has been married to his wife Lori Beth Shirah for Fifteen years. He is a native from Orlando Florida but has lived in Hinesville since 2004. Hinesville became his permanent home, where he wanted to start his family and raise his children at. He began his military career in 2002 as a Combat Engineer in the United States Army joining the 841st Engineer Battalion of the Army reservist stationed in Orlando Florida. In 2004 Alex felling the call to more actively serve his country, left the reserves and requested to sever on active duty. In April of 2004 he was stationed at Fort Stewart Georgia with 4-64 Echo Company 3rdInfantry Division. In July of 2004 Alex was re-assigned to help stand up the new 4-3 BTSB as part of the Army’s reorganization. He was assigned to train a new Personal Security Detail  for the Brigades upcoming 2005 deployment to Baghdad Iraq as part of operation Enduring Freedom. In 2005 Alex deployed with his newly formed team and provided personal security to the 4th Brigade Infrastructure Coordination Element, logging hundreds of miles in a combat zone. In August 2005 Alex’s vehicle was struck by an emplaced Improvised Explosive Device. Even while sustaining injury to his back Alex was able to get his vehicle out of harm’s way and his wounded soldiers to immediate medical attention resulting in only his gunner losing the tips of his fingers and his lieutenant only losing hearing in one year and no lose in life. In 2007 Alex was discharged from active duty but was able to enlist into The Georgia National Guard. Severing with the 122 Rear Operation Command in Glenville GA, Alex serves at an S3 clerk. In 2008 Alex deployed to the Republic of Georgia where he helped train The Republic of Georgia’s Newly Formed 4th Brigade. He paid a critical role in establishing cultural relationships and setting training their S3 shop. In 2010 it was determined that Alex’s injuries made him no longer being mission capable and he was medically discharged from the National Guard.

After leaving active duty Alex felt the call to serve his community and in 2008 Alex served as a Patrol officer for the City of Hinesville Police Department. He was assigned to Night shift serving under Lieutenant Thomas Ovitt, Sargent Denise Ellison and Star Corporal Jason Andrews. While serving Alex specialized in DUI detection, Domestic Violence response and Crisis Intervention. In December 2010 Alex left the Police Department to return to school and pursue his degree in Criminal Justice at Savannah Technical Collage than later South University. 

Alex once again felling the call to serve his community began working for the State of Georgia in Savannah as a Juvenile Justice Probation and Parole Office serving High Intensive Team services to children who were designated felons and committed to the state until their 21st birthday. 

In 2014 He began his career in Real Estate at the Executive School of Realty in Hinesville GA. After completing his course Alex was licensed in July of 2014. In his first six months as a Realtor Alex conducted 8 transactions moving over $600,000 in Real Estate. In 2016 he moved to Re/Max All American Realty where he took over as Office Manager, managing 12 sales agents and making sure all office files where in compliance with the Georgia Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors Standards and would annually sell over 2 million Dollars in Real Estate. In 2021 Alex decided it was time to further his career and took his Brokers Exam and opened Hinesville Military Homes as a way to serve the Military community that helped shape hi, into the person he is today.

Alex prides himself in exceptional and personal customer service, refusing to send automated emails, and making cold calls to any of his customers. He believes that his relationship should go well past the closing and is always happy to make time for his customers and clients.
